The first blog I read was on a teacher in Connecticut. She is currently teaching courses in Educational Technology at Eastern Connecticut State University. Her blog was about herself and her accomplishments over the past 32 years. On the blog site, she tells of her life as a teacher and gives information on teaching.
The second blog I read was about Mrs. Dudiak’s class. She tells all in her blog about her classroom and her class. It starts from the year she started teaching to now. This is a teacher who uses this blog technique for everything. The blog is also about her students and their reading and writing. She has had many responses from other teachers looking for help.

ALEX info
The ALEX (Alabama Learning Exchange) website is a very helpful and useful website for soon to be teachers and for people who are teacher now. On the ALEX website you are able to click on different links that will take you to different information about each subject in school. For instance, if you click on the Mathematics link first you can choose what grade you want to teach. Then it will show you all kinds of ways to teach that grade Math. It gives you different ideas and tips for how to teach to say third grade students.
This is a website that I will be sure to use when I become a teacher. There is also a link that takes you to lesson plans. You can select whatever it is your wanting to teach and it will give you lesson plans on that particular subject. I plan on visiting this site many times in the future. This is a user friendly website that anyone can use. It isn’t blocked either so it will be available on the actual classroom computer, which is definitely a plus.

ACCESS info
Alabama Connecting Classroom, Educators and Students Statewide (ACCESS) program is a very interesting tool. Its where students are able to use the internet to learn subjects such as Math and Science rather than using text books. The plan is to have a least one high school course online. Meaning that each student use the internet to learn whatever subject that teacher chose.
This seems like a very smart way to introduce high school students to the internet but also prepare them for college. Students will find out that the majority of school work in college is based on finding things out via the internet. The ACCESS program is a great idea by Gov. Bob Riley and has been an innovative way that distance learning is available in Alabama high schools. As a future educator I plan to use this ACCESS program to better myself and my students.

International schools
The website below is to a site that has blogs on it of schools and teacher in Japan. It gives a directory of schools in Japan. Each school is listed and there is a brief description of the school. A browser can click on each school and find out more detailed information on that particular school. Each school has its own teachers writing about that school and curriculum.
It is very interesting to see what teachers in Japan are doing and the way their teaching. They tell you of their students and how they learn different subjects. This would be a great way to find a school if you were ever moving or maybe even trying to find pen pals for your own students. This blog even gives information on the Japanese culture, which is a perfect way for someone to learn. I think this would be a great way for students to do reports on different countries and their means of education.

First Post
I'm glad I finally know how to do this. I've always wondered but never was sure. This is a great way for me to update my family and friends of my wedding plans! Thank you!
